The course was initially constructed in the late seventies and has since been extended and developed, and is maintained to a high standard; the result is a challenging and enjoyable nine hole course.
Colworth Golf Club provides for its members the opportunity to participate in competitions, medals, inter club matches, social events in addition to social golf. In contrast to many golf clubs, The Colworth Golf Club restricts play to its members and their guests, hence the course is rarely congested, since pay and play, and societies are not permitted.
Membership of Colworth Golf club is a full 7 day, allowing all members and their guests to play at any time on all days, providing no matches / other events have made tee reservations. Membership cost is substantially less than other Golf clubs in the location and therefore provides great value.
